Ms. Magazine Interviews Dr. Irma McClaurin, Black Feminist Speaker at NWSA 2018

Live on Ms. Magazine’s Carmen Rios conducted a live interview at the 2017 annual meeting of the National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA).  She asked Dr. Irma McClaurin, Black Feminist Speaker, about her career as a leader, award-winning author, and founder of the “Irma McClaurin Black Feminist Archive” (BFA) established at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a collaboration with the Department of Special Collections and University Archives and the W.E.B. Du Bois Center.  The BFA is in the developmental stages, recruiting contributors, fundraising,  and Dr. McClaurin lectures nationally and internationally at conferences and as a keynote speaker on the topic of  “Why a Black Feminist Archive, You Ask?”
